"Of all the reviews I've written for my dental team of four doctors, this one means the most. I had a genetically deficient mouth that required over five years of treatment and four doctors of different dental specialties to fix. Given that I started with braces on day one, and got retainers after all of the subsequent surgeries years later, I've had the unique perspective of seeing Dr. Awbrey and his team over a period of five and a half years, including COVID. I had a complex situation, and every single one of my scores of visits was a great experience that I greatly miss. While the discomfort of dental work was omnipresent, the staff in the office and Dr. Awbrey were the best team of exceptional people that I could have asked for, and I wouldn't have wanted it to be anyone else. They are the standard for first class orthodontics."

"Great team! Super attentive staff and the massage chairs in the waiting room are a plus! My only thing i would say is if you have a permanent brace, they do not offer replacement, they do retainers instead. I decided why not and give it a go and lost mine after 2 days for the fact you have to take them out when you eat. I’ll now be finding someone who puts a permanent brace in because it’s definitely not a good alternative at least for me :). But if they did permanent braces i would return! $220 down the drain but my fault I should have said no and found a permanent braces place!"
"I didn’t want traditional braces bc I was in 28 years old and preferred Invisalign and the first place I went too, I just didn’t have a great experience upon my “consultation” so I came here for a second opinion and was instantly amazed at how welcoming they were! Upon meeting Dr Awbrey I was thrilled to know that I was a candidate for Invisalign and he was willing to take on my case. And now here I am; 2 wisdom teeth removed, 1 root canal, 103 trays and 2 years later I have reached the end of my journey and now on to my forever retainers! "We were referred to Dr. James J. Awbrey IV, DMD by our trusted dentist. We knew it may be preemptive but did not want to miss the best treatment window for our daughter. The level of professionalism with this office is unmatched. Our interactions with this office have been fantastic. The staff is friendly and patient with younger children. The treatment coordinator, Kayla Brabham, is wonderful. She is patient, thoroughly explains treatment options, and partners with the doctor to explain the necessity for each step.Our family is very thankful for the attentive care which started our first visit. Prior to our visit with Dr. Awbrey, our daughter had been seeing an ENT due to some hearing issues we were not able to identify the cause of. When reviewing her first visit x-rays completed by the Smile Doctor’s office, Dr. Awbrey identified concerns with our daughter’s adenoids and airway. He asked if she had any other issues with snoring, hearing, and sleep. He was correct! We requested a reference for a different ENT, as our current one had not identified this issue. As a result, our daughter has since had these items corrected, is sleeping well, and no longer has any hearing challenges! Our family is grateful for Dr. Awbrey and the level of care provided even prior to putting on braces.This office truly cares about their patients and their overall health. We look forward to our daughter having her orthodontia treatments done by Dr. Awbrey and the staff at this office!"

"I cannot rave enough about Dr. Awbrey and his team! I got my braces on in 6th grade by Dr. Awbrey (and I'm now 31). I have a permanent retainer on the lower arch done by Dr. Awbrey, and it is still in and has never come out or gotten loose. So of course, now that my son is ready for braces, Dr. Awbrey is the only one to choose.I've worked in dentistry/ortho for 13 years, and I can confidently say this office, and this team - they just get it!Sheila, who worked in the office when I had braces, is so nice and has such a calm and welcoming demeanor. She makes check-in and check-out flow smoothly. Lydia, the employee who took the X-Rays and pictures, came out to introduce herself and she was so friendly and nice. Kayla, the treatment coordinator, explained everything so thoroughly and even made conversation with my son, which made him feel comfortable and put him at ease. Kayla has her own office line, so when I needed to get in touch with her prior to my son's next appointment, I was able to reach her without being transferred or holding. Brittany, is one of the orthodontic assistants, and she is so sweet! Lastly, Jacqui is also a familiar face (from when I had braces). You definitely know you've stepped into a good practice when some of the staff has been there for 20+ years. Everyone is very pleasant and they are always wearing a smile.A great bonus feature is the coffee bar and the massage chairs!! I would highly recommend this orthodontic team!"
"Dr. Awbrey and his staff are excellent. I am a dental hygienist, and chose him by seeing my patient's orthodontics and end results for years before I even had my own children. :) His cement is always neat and tidy, and he places his brackets perfectly. He is such a perfectionist, which I really appreciate. My daughter got her braces taken off yesterday, and she looks beautiful. And even more importantly, her bite and jaw function are perfect! "Dr. Awbrey is a wonderful orthodontist! The office is absolutely amazing! Very clean, lots of treats, video games, massage chairs, movies/music, and more. In fact, I enjoy just visiting the waiting room! The staff is super friendly and very professional. My dentist and friends recommended him for my braces. I purchased braces as an adult, and he got me out of those horribly unattractive things faster than expected...and the results are better than I expected! Dr. Awbrey put me in permanent retainers, and I could not be happier. I have not had any issues with my treatment, and I could not be happier!6 Stars if Google allowed it!"

"I take my two boys to Awbrey Orthodontist Clinic for their braces, they are excited to go. Dr. Awbrey is such a nice and friendly Orthodontist. My children just love him and his staff. I can remember going to the Orthodontist when I was a kid and hated it. He has TV's on the ceilings and I am sure this helps but the entire staff is so friendly. Really makes it a nice to tell your kids your going to the dentist and they hop right into the car....."

"My daughter was very worried about getting her braces put on but everyone was extremely friendly which put her at ease. The whole process was explained in detail so there were no surprises. The little 'extras' you receive make a huge difference. From the cool t-shirt, reward credit point which are cashed in for store credit, to the free massage for mom. The office is modern, clean, comfortable and offers free coffee while you wait. Dr Awbrey is very professional and spends time explaining what your child needs done. I never felt pressure or rushed and ever had two free consults because Dr Awbrey said my daughters teeth were not ready for braces. They have always been on time with our appointments. Overall, I'm very happy we went with Dr Awbrey. They go that extra step to make the experience as pleasant as possible."

"Dr. Awbrey has been caring for our family for 14 years. He has seen four of my family through braces, including two adults. Both adults had extraneous issues requiring collaboration with other specialists, specialized skill that Dr. Awbrey was qualified and certified to handle, and financial arrangements that the staff handled with flexibility. I cannot say enough about his practice. The staff has essentially remained unchanged in that time. His employees stay long, which I believe reflects a happy workplace and good boss. "I love going to Awbrey Orthodontics so much. Yes, some kids hate going to just any other orthodontist, but I love Dr. Awbrey's office. The people are nice and always welcoming. I love the T-shirts and winning cool prizes just for taking care of your teeth.You actually get rewarded at Dr. Awbrey Ortho. So if your a kid and you hate going to the orthodontics, which is crazy, you will love Awbrey ortho.
