I cannot rave enough about Dr. Awbrey and his team! I got my braces on in 6th grade by Dr. Awbrey (and I’m now 31). I have a permanent retainer on the lower arch done by Dr. Awbrey, and it is still in and has never come out or gotten loose. So of course, now that my son is ready for braces, Dr. Awbrey is the only one to choose. I’ve worked in dentistry/ortho for 13 years, and I can confidently say this office, and this team – they just get it! Sheila, who worked in the office when I had braces, is so nice and has such a calm and welcoming demeanor. She makes check-in and check-out flow smoothly. Lydia, the employee who took the X-Rays and pictures, came out to introduce herself and she was so friendly and nice. Kayla, the treatment coordinator, explained everything so thoroughly and even made conversation with my son, which made him feel comfortable and put him at ease. Kayla has her own office line, so when I needed to get in touch with her prior to my son’s next appointment, I was able to reach her without being transferred or holding. Brittany, is one of the orthodontic assistants, and she is so sweet! Lastly, Jacqui is also a familiar face (from when I had braces). You definitely know you’ve stepped into a good practice when some of the staff has been there for 20+ years. Everyone is very pleasant and they are always wearing a smile. A great bonus feature is the coffee bar and the massage chairs!! I would highly recommend this orthodontic team!
